Blood Pressure Screenings
Strongest driver of cardiovascular disease is undiagnosed and untreated hypertension. African Health Now offers free BP screenings and early diagnosis to hypertension and elevated blood pressures.
Primary Dental Care
African Health Now provides free dental screenings to help combat tooth decay and gum disease. Our dental teams teach participants about basic oral hygiene.
Breast Cancer Education
African Health Now provides free breast cancer screenings and education by teaching female participants how to conduct self-breast examinations. We also provide group sessions for both men and women that help demystify culture stereotypes associated with breast cancer.
Maternity Go Box
African Health Now provides free postpartum "maternity go boxes" to women participating in the Pregnancy School programs at Madina Polyclinic Kekele.Each box includes necessary health and hygiene supplies needed to support mothers and their newborns during the first weeks.
Nutrition
African Health Now provides free health and nutrition education to mothers and all participants in an effort to help encourage healthier eating habits.
Diabetes Testing
African Health Now offers free diabetes screenings to help detect early stages of type 1 & type 2 diabetes. Our screenings are helping participants who are unable to afford the cost of daily testing an opportunity to know and understand their current levels and how they can be managed.
